Getting Started at UR: Apps & Resources

CampusGroups (Spider Central): This app serves as a hub for campus
involvement, allowing you to browse upcoming events and explore student
organizations.
Duo Mobile Security: The university’s multi-factor authentication app. It is
required to verify your identity and securely log in to your UR account,
especially when accessing university services from off campus or while not
connected to the university Wi-Fi network.
UR Spider Safe: This is the o昀케cial safety app. It provides important safety
alerts, quick access to campus safety resources, and direct integration with
university security services to help keep students informed and safe.
Mobile ID: Mobile ID allows you to unlock your residence hall door using your
phone. While it should not replace carrying your physical ID card, it can be a
helpful backup if you accidentally get locked out.
UR University Recreation: Provides access to your digital barcode for entry
into the Weinstein Center for Recreation. The app also features schedules
for free group fitness classes, intramural and club sports information, and
updates on campus wellness programs and events.
Speed Queen: Laundry is free for students, and this app allows you to start
machines, monitor cycle progress, and receive notifications when your
laundry is finished.
