Parking & Unloading
*Check in at Tyler Haynes Common first to grab your SpiderCard
Richmond Side: Unloading zone is in Lot C61.
Westhampton Side: Unloading zone is in Lot W93.
Unloading Time:
Parking near the residence hall is strictly for 15 minutes and is designated for unloading
only.
Steps to Follow:
Arrive in the designated area.
Unload the car fully before moving any items inside.
One driver should move the car to a designated parking area and return to help carry
items inside.
Additional Tips for Move-In Day
Staff Support: Teams of staff will be available at tents near your residence hall to assist
you in getting a move-in bin to help transport your items as well as to answer any
questions.
Ask for Help: Don’t hesitate to ask RAs (Resident Advisors) or staff for guidance during
move-in.
Accessibility: Contact the Office of Disability Services in advance to arrange
accommodations. They can assist with accessible parking, unloading support, or other
needs.
Family and friends are welcome to assist with moving in, but limit your group to two
vehicles per student! Both vehicles will be permitted to park following the 15-minute
unloading rule to allow for ample space for all residents move in.
Water stations are available in Tyler Haynes Commons, move in tents, and residence
halls.
