Housing Assignments & Move-In Dates
Housing Assignments
Emails will be sent on or before July 20, including instructions for signing up for a move-in timeslot.
Move-In Timeslots:
Available in 30-minute increments between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Timeslots are selected by
students on a first-come, first-served basis, through their StarRez Portal. Be sure to review the
instructions on your housing assignment notification for when timeslot selection will begin.
Move-In Dates:
Transition Program Students: Monday, August 17
All Other Entering Students: Wednesday, August 19
Late Arrivals: If you arrive on campus after 4:00 PM on your move-in date, contact your
orientation advisor to arrange acquiring your OneCard and Orientation information.
Check-In Process
Location: Check-in takes place on the first floor of Tyler Haynes Commons. Please arrive at
your selected timeslot.
Requirements: Bring your original physical ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport) to complete
check-in. This is required, so don’t leave it in your car!
You’ll receive an activated SpiderCard at check-in, which grants you access to your residence
hall and room. You’ll connect with your Orientation team and receive more information about
the coming days!
Parents, be sure to check out the Resource Fair while your student gets checked in. in Tyler
Haynes Commons to explore campus resources and connect with community partners. They’ll
be able to join once they conclude the process.
