Take part in an experience to get better acquainted to the city of
Richmond or our UR campus. You must have been signed up in advance
and you will have received confirmation about the activity you are taking
part in.
Closing Ceremony | Robins Center | 2:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Come celebrate your New Spider Orientation experience with us and get
excited to be a Spider!
Arts Open House | Modlin Center | 3:00 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Come learn about all of the opportunities at the University in the arts!
Also, make sure to attend to sign the Class of 2030 banner.
Movie Under the Stars | Greek Theatre | 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Join SpiderBoard to watch La La Land under the stars at Robins Stadium!
Free swag and snacks while supplies last.

Introduction to Christian LIfe at UR | Cannon Memorial Chapel
| 10 a.m.- 11 a.m.
Opening Day Campus Celebration | Boatwright Library | 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Celebrate the reopening of Boatwright Memorial Library and the grand
opening of the Carole and Marcus Weinstein Learning Center! Join us on
Boatwright’s front lawn for free food trucks, games, and music, and then
step inside to explore the newly renovated building!
First-Generation/Limited Income Student Mixer and Ice Cream

Investiture | Cannon Memorial Chapel | Arrive at 1:45 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
This mandatory event for students in Richmond College marks the
formal introduction of first-year students into the College. Students are
introduced to the history of Richmond College, and hear reflections from
upperclass students. Elements of Investiture include: Signing the Honor
Pledge, Receiving the Class Coin, Presentation of the Class Flag.
Robins School of Business Open House | First Floor of the Robins
School of Business | 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
The Econ 101 faculty are hosting an open house at the Robins School of
Business. Come meet with professors, find where your classrooms are,
and take tours of the building, all while enjoying some free ice cream and
other delicious snacks. All University of Richmond first year students are
invited!
