Financial Aid Open House | Queally Center, Suite 214, Financial Aid
Office | 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
The Office of Financial Aid is hosting an open house for students to meet
our staff and connect with their financial aid advisor. Light refreshments
will be available.
LGBTQ+ Mixer | Multicultural Space | 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ community and/or a staunch ally who
is looking to build community with other LGBTQ+ students/allies? Join
Casey Butler, Associate Director of LGBTQ+ Campus Life, and several
LGBTQ+/allied Orientation Advisors as they share and discuss pathways
to community for LGBTQ+ students/allies, both on and off campus. Food
and drinks provided.
Welcoming Shabbat | The Web | 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Join Jewish Life at UR to welcome Shabbat with candles, kiddush, and
challah. After a quick ritual to celebrate the arrival of Shabbat, enjoy
some sweet desserts while getting to know your fellow Spiders and
learning more about upcoming opportunities through Jewish Life and UR
Hillel. *The Web is on the Westhampton side of campus behind South
Court Residence Hall.

Information and policies regarding Title IX, CARE, Hazing, and Alcohol and
Other Drugs will be presented during this session, which is mandatory for
all students to attend.

Grab a food voucher once you attend the Safe Spider Session to get food
from one of the many food trucks at this event.
