Meet with your OAs to get prepared for your first day of Orientation.
WELL 100 FIrst Class | Various Locations | 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
New students will get the chance to meet their WELL 100 instructors and
classmates in their first class.
Lunch + Sweet Send Off | Heilman Dining Center and University
Forum | 12 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Families and Supporters will be provided with tickets for a free lunch to
attend at the Dining Hall with their student before saying goodbye!
Student Development Welcome | Robins Center | 2:30 p.m.- 3:45 p.m.
Learn more about the many services and supports that Student
Development at UR can provide you during your time here.
Residence Hall Meetings | Robins Center Concourse & Millhiser Green
| 3:45 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Students will meet the staff from the Office of Residence Life, and learn
about University policies, important fire safety information, and more
about living on-campus
Transfer Student Social | Tyler Hanes Commons (THC) 305
| 3:45 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. *Transfer Students Only
Transfer students will have the chance to meet one another and learn
more about opportunities at the University of Richmond that are available
to them. Students will also be able participate in a tradition to trade in
their previous school's swag for new free Richmond swag!
What’s Up at UR Panel | Jepson Hall 118 | 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. *Optional
Want the tea on what the multicultural experience is like at UR? Join
members of the Orientation Student Staff as they facilitate a panel
discussion about the multicultural experience at UR. This discussion is for
students, facilitated by students, without any professional staff
involvement.
Spider Backyard Bash | Tyler Haynes Commons (THC), The Pier & The Current
| 8 - 10 p.m. *Optional
UR’s Health & Well-Being Unit invites you to a night of music, pick-up sports, lawn
games, and snacks. Come hangout on the green, the courts, or inside for crafts
and games!
